Decoration FAQ

Although it's pretty straight forward, of course you are bound to have a few questions when it comes to Lulabee's array of decoration items available to hire....

Do you have a minimum spend?

Yes, there is a minimum spend of £250.00 for decoration hire items. However if you wish to collect the items from our base, we can waiver the minimum spend. Please note this spend is on hire items only, so will not include any items being purchased and will not include the additional delivery fees.

How do I go about hiring items with Lulabee?

Firstly - get in touch! Please remember to state all the relevant information, including your wedding day (so we can check our calendars) and the venue. If you can list what you are interested in hiring, we can then put a quotation together for you. 50% of this total cost would be due to secure your booking, this payment will be due via BACS and will be explained on your invoice.


Do you take more than wedding book on one day?

In short, yes I do, but this is a rarity. If I am to take on more than one booking, the first booking will have priority over times, and the second booking will work around this. I will always be honest and let you aware of this, but ultimately it will not affect your wedding day.


I've Secured my booking but I've changed my mind on some of my items, can I change them?

You are welcome to change your items you have hired, however please be aware that these may have been rejected by other brides as you have requested them for your wedding day. We do not encourage changing of items, but you are welcome to add on items up until 1 month before the wedding. For more information on changing hire items please visit our T&C's.


Are there any hidden fees?

I will always be upfront about any fees, or you will be able to read our T&C's to understand what fee's are involved with hire items. The only additional fee's to bear in mind are delivery/set up and collection costs as well as a breakage deposit.


What is the breakage deposit?

Every order will require a breakage deposit. This will cover the cost of any damage/loss to items during the hire period. The amount will depend on your final balance, but this will be returned to you after the wedding should the items be returned in their original state. Please refer to t&c's for more details. If items are damaged/lost you will loose your breakage deposit up to amount cost to replace.


Will you help with additional set up?

Of course - I would be happy to set up 'Mum's bunting' or any of your own items. Just get in touch with plenty of time to discuss to see what we can do!
There will be an additional cost for this help.


How far will you travel and where are you based?

I am based in Coombe Bissett, a village on the outskirts of Salisbury in Wiltshire. I generally cover a 55 mile radius, however we will of course consider traveling further, but additional fees and accommodation may need to be put in place.


Can I collect the items from you instead?

Yes you can collect items from our studio yourself. However, you are responsible during the entire period for any damage/loss. More often than not, items collected are not treated with care and are broken, so I am reluctant to hire out items this way, but I understand when the budget is tight, or you are local it may be easier for you to collect. I would strongly recommend using our full service and let us take the stress away from you by delivering, setting up and collecting ourselves.


I've purchAsed on the day stationery from you, will you set this up too?

Of course! If you have purchased any stationery from Lulabee, we are very happy to bring this with us on the day and set it up for you with your decoration hire items


Will you post hire items to me or abroad?

I cannot send any decoration items in the post. Items are very delicate and precious to us so I require hand delivery only. Items can be taken abroad by yourself, but must be taken by hand and not couriered and there would be an additional fee for the length of time items are hired for.
